The Xbox Store listing for BODYCAM 2026 went live with a January 7, 2026 release date covering both last-gen (Xbox One) and current-gen (Xbox Series X|S) consoles. That makes Xbox the first and so far only console home for Reissad Studio's body-cam shooter, roughly nineteen months after the PC Early Access launch in June 2024. The listing sits alongside the Steam build, so the developer is now shipping two platforms in parallel — a milestone the community had speculated about since the first 'any plans for console?' threads in 2024.

For players this means the old advice ('PC only, wait for ports') is outdated: if you own an Xbox One or a Series console you can buy and play the official game today from the console's own storefront. Treat anything claiming to be a Bodycam console download outside the official Xbox Store as a fake — the content-farm problem that followed this game's popularity has not gone away.

PS5: still no Bodycam, and one trap to avoid
