Maps hub

Quick answer

Learn maps by flow, not by memory: start in Deathmatch where respawns cycle you through a layout fast, name lanes by what they connect (not colors), and rebuild your callout vocabulary per map. Trenches — the map Steam's coverage highlights — has its own deep dive.

  • Trenches: the map with a dedicated deep dive on this wiki.
  • Full map rotation list: confirm in the live client — playlists move during Early Access.
  • Zombies is temporarily unavailable while reworked (update coverage) — expect playlist changes.

Trenches deep dive →

A directory of Bodycam's maps and how to learn them. The body-camera view changes map reading — this hub covers the learning method, with Trenches documented in depth on its own page.

  • Learn in DM/TDM first — fast respawns cycle you through layouts quicker than Wingman.
  • Name lanes by connections (spawn-to-site, mid-to-hub), never by colors — colorblind mode exists and half your team may not see what you see.
  • The hub with shooting range is your warm-up map — use it before unfamiliar layouts.
  • Exact rotation and map counts: Unknown on this wiki — verify in-client.

Reading a map under the body-cam frame

Standard FPS map memory leans on wide sightlines and minimap glances; Bodycam's camera removes both crutches. The substitute is flow memory: run a new layout in Deathmatch until your feet know the lane transitions without looking, then add verticality (windows, stairs, sightline breaks) consciously. Ten DM respawns teach more map than an hour of slow walks.

Callouts follow the same rule — anchor names to structure, not paint. 'Second window from spawn', 'long side of the trench', 'the low doorway' survive patches that retexture; 'blue hall' dies to every palette change. Communities build better callouts when the anchors are physical.

Trenches

The map with dedicated coverage on this wiki — its deep dive covers lane structure, engagement distances, and how the body-cam weight shapes duels there. See the Trenches page.

What we will not invent

No full rotation lists, no competitive map pools, no radar overlays — playlists moved during Early Access (Zombies was pulled for rework per update coverage) and anything published here would age in days. Confirm live playlists in the client; treat community rotation trackers as unofficial until they cite patch notes.
